Your home's indoor air quality matters, and a clean, properly functioning heating, ventilating and air conditioning system is vital to maintaining a clean environment.
Dirty ductwork requires your HVAC system to work harder to push air out into your home. And if mold is allowed to thrive in the ducts, they may need to be replaced.

Any one of these is a reason to get a camera in the trunk line. Two or more and you already know.

How it works
We look at your furnace and the duct runs on camera, count the vents and confirm what the system needs before anything is quoted.
The Hypervac Revolution negative air machine connects to the trunk line and puts the whole system under suction while every vent and main line is worked with the push and pull method NADCA recommends. Furnace, evaporator coil and blower cleaning are available on request.
After the contaminants are loosened, compressed air is blown through the system to flush every trace of dirt toward the vacuum.
The camera goes back in and you see the same runs clean. Vents go back on, access points are sealed and you get the before and after footage.

NADCA recommends an annual HVAC inspection, not an annual cleaning. Most homes here clean every three to five years, sooner with pets, allergies, a renovation or a smoker. The camera decides.
Three to five hours for a typical single furnace home. Heavy debris or added furnace and coil cleaning runs longer. You can stay home and go about your day.
No. The system is under negative pressure the whole time, so debris is pulled toward the machine, not into rooms. Floors are covered and the exhaust is HEPA filtered.
Do not fall for the whole house special for $59 to $249 ads. Some companies use that price to get a foot in your door, and once the so called inspection is over the upcharging begins: return lines you must add, mold you supposedly have, sanitizer you suddenly need. Verify any company in the member directory at nadca.com, read the NADCA homeowner guide on why to choose a NADCA member and its Avoid the Scams page, and hire a company that uses a negative air machine. A Rotobrush or a similar spinning brush will not give you the same result. Ask if every supply and return is included and ask for footage. If the phone price sounds too low for a full day of work, it is.
Membership has strict requirements. The company must have at least one NADCA and QUADCA certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) on staff, maintain general liability insurance, agree to clean to the ACR and NADCA standards, and comply with the NADCA and QUADCA codes of ethics. If a company is not going to clean to the NADCA standard, it must tell you so at the time of sale. That is the protection you lose with an unaffiliated crew.
