Local knowledge
Wadsworth is the far southwest corner of our service area, and we group visits there so nobody waits long.
Wadsworth housing runs to century homes downtown with original masonry chimneys and postwar ranches and newer colonials on the edges. Medina County is outside the heaviest snowbelt but still crosses freezing dozens of times each winter, which is what cracks crowns, opens mortar joints and rusts chase covers. Brunswick and the Medina subdivisions are dominated by 1980s to 2000s homes with prefab fireplaces, while the streets around Medina square and downtown Wadsworth hold century brick.
We work across the historic downtown and the neighborhoods off Route 94, High Street and College Street, so we know what these homes need and what tends to go wrong in them.
