He was extremely professional, punctual, and took the time to explain everything he was doing throughout the process. You can tell he really cares about the quality of his work. Local knowledge
Shaker chimneys are tall and ornate, so we video every flue and write up repairs in the detail these homes deserve.
Shaker Heights housing runs to century Tudor, Colonial and French style homes with slate roofs and tall multi flue masonry chimneys built to strict original standards. The east side sits in the snowbelt and the west side takes the wind straight off Lake Erie, and everywhere in between the temperature crosses freezing dozens of times a winter. Cuyahoga has the oldest housing stock in Northeast Ohio, so century brick with unlined clay flues and 1950s ranches with original ductwork are what we see most.
We work across the streets around Shaker Square and the homes along Van Aken Blvd, plus the Fernway, Lomond and Malvern neighborhoods, so we know what these homes need and what tends to go wrong in them.
