Local knowledge
Bainbridge has a lot of prefab fireplaces in the newer subdivisions, and most have never had a Level 2 inspection.
Bainbridge housing runs to 1970s to 2000s colonials and cluster homes with prefab fireplaces alongside older farmhouses with masonry stacks. Geauga County sits squarely in the snowbelt, and roofs and chimneys here carry heavy snow from November into March while the temperature swings across freezing again and again. Wood heat is common on the township roads, so creosote buildup and liner condition matter more here than anywhere else we work.
We work across the neighborhoods off Chillicothe Road, Bainbridge Road and Aurora Road, plus the Lake Lucerne and Tanglewood areas, so we know what these homes need and what tends to go wrong in them.
