Local knowledge
Chesterland homes sit under heavy tree cover, and clearing debris and nests from flues is a big part of our work there.
Chesterland housing runs to 1960s to 1990s colonials and ranches on wooded acre lots with masonry fireplaces and wood stoves. Geauga County sits squarely in the snowbelt, and roofs and chimneys here carry heavy snow from November into March while the temperature swings across freezing again and again. Wood heat is common on the township roads, so creosote buildup and liner condition matter more here than anywhere else we work.
We work across the neighborhoods off Mayfield Road, Chillicothe Road and Caves Road in Chester Township, so we know what these homes need and what tends to go wrong in them.
