Local knowledge
Mentor is five minutes from our office, so same day appointments are the norm.
Mentor housing runs to 1960s to 1990s colonials and split levels, many with prefab fireplaces that have never been inspected. Lake Erie is a few miles north of every home in the county. Lake effect snow piles on chimney crowns, wind driven rain finds gaps in flashing, and the temperature crosses freezing forty to fifty times a winter.
We work across the colonials off Mentor Avenue, the ranches near Headlands and the newer builds around Center Street, so we know what these homes need and what tends to go wrong in them.
