Chimney Cleaning in Macedonia
Macedonia’s long heating season can mean frequent fireplace use, allowing soot and creosote to collect inside chimneys over time. Green and Clean Home Services uses responsible cleaning practices to clear this buildup while keeping unnecessary mess and harsh cleaning methods to a minimum. We bring local experience and attentive workmanship to Macedonia homes, helping residents keep their chimneys cleaner and ready for regular seasonal use with an approach that respects both the home and its surroundings.
Schedule serviceA cleaner chimney means a safer, more efficient home.
Professional chimney cleaning can reduce fire risks by removing combustible creosote and soot that accumulate with fireplace use. A clearer flue also supports proper airflow, helping smoke travel out of the home and allowing the fireplace to operate more effectively. Routine cleaning can also prevent stubborn blockages and buildup from contributing to avoidable chimney problems. With chimney cleaning in Macedonia Ohio, homeowners can address these important maintenance needs before another season of regular fireplace use begins.

What is included
Every sweep comes with a Level 1 or 2 inspection, and you see the footage.
Rotary rods and brushes matched to your flue, from the firebox to the cap.
Drop cloths down and a HEPA vacuum running the whole time.
The parts most sweeps skip are cleaned and checked.
Masonry and prefab fireplaces, inserts, stoves and furnace flues.
Photos, findings and clear next steps in plain language.
Local knowledge
Macedonia homes tend to have prefab fireplaces that are reaching the age where refractory panels and chase covers fail.
Macedonia housing runs to 1970s to 2000s colonials and ranches with prefab fireplaces and long dryer vents. Summit County gets less lake effect snow than Lake and Geauga, but the freeze and thaw cycle that cracks crowns and mortar is just as relentless here. The housing runs from century brick in Akron and historic Hudson to 1990s subdivisions in Twinsburg and Stow, so we see unlined clay flues and aging prefab fireplaces in the same day.
We work across the neighborhoods off Route 82, Valley View Road and Highland Road near Longwood Park, so we know what these homes need and what tends to go wrong in them.
