Local knowledge
Stow homes give us a steady mix of sweeps, duct cleaning and dryer vents, often on the same street.
Stow housing runs to 1960s to 1990s ranches, split levels and colonials with masonry and prefab fireplaces and finished basements. Summit County gets less lake effect snow than Lake and Geauga, but the freeze and thaw cycle that cracks crowns and mortar is just as relentless here. The housing runs from century brick in Akron and historic Hudson to 1990s subdivisions in Twinsburg and Stow, so we see unlined clay flues and aging prefab fireplaces in the same day.
We work across the neighborhoods off Darrow Road, Kent Road and Graham Road near Silver Springs Park, so we know what these homes need and what tends to go wrong in them.
